Bay St. Louis Fire Department hosts Quentin Conway Benefit

Bay St. Louis, Miss. (WXXV) — On Monday evening, community members gathered at the Bay St. Louis Fire Department to host a drive-up dinner benefit in honor of Quentin Conway, a utility department worker who passed away recently.

From city officials to volunteers, dozens showed out to lend a helping hand. Mayor Mike Favre and his wife spent hours preparing the meal, which was their well-known white beans and shrimp recipe.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Conway Family to help cover funeral costs.

WXXV News 25’s Elizabeth Keen has more from the benefit.
