Bay Police searching for truck in fatal hit-and-run

Bay St Louis Police are looking for a driver who hit and killed a pedestrian on Highway 90.

Police Chief Toby Schwartz said about 10:30 p.m. a  black Dodge truck hit 41-year-old Brandy Thames at the intersection of Highway 90 and Dunbar Avenue,  throwing her 40 feet from the impact.

thames was engaged to be married.

Schwartz said the truck will have front-end damage and continued traveling eastbound after hitting Thames. The vehicle could be an older model Dodge.
