Bay High’s Aiden Boudro wins second consecutive Gatorade Player of the Year honors!
Just when you think he’s done it all, Aiden Boudro’s high school soccer career just keeps getting more and more impressive. For the second year in a row, Boudro has been named the Gatorade Player of the Year.
The Gatorade Player of the Year award goes to the top student athletes in each sport in the state of Mississippi. It’s incredible to earn it once, and absolutely insane to earn it twice.
During his senior season on the pitch, Boudro scored 41 goals, recorded 12 assists and helped lead the Bay High Tigers to their third State Championship in row, finishing the year with an overall record of 22-3-1. The former WXXV Student Athlete of the Week closes his high school career with 101 goals and 43 assists.
The two-time Gatorade Player of the Year will be taking his legendary skills to North Carolina where he’ll join the Davidson College Wildcats. Congratulations Aiden, we could not be more proud of you!
