Bay high lady Tigers soccer excited to face a familiar foe in MHSAA state championship match

The Bay high lady Tigers are headed to the state championship game in Jackson, MS to face West Lauderdale and the lady Knights on February 14th. The two teams met earlier in the season where West Lauderdale came out on top 3-1.

WXXV sports spoke to lady Tigers head coach Colby Adam ahead of his teams state championship matchup. He spoke about the matchup and how his team will prepare to be ready for the final game of the season.

“We know they are tough,” Adam said. “We played the once this year already so we know what we have to do. We have got to make sure that we are preparing this week, taking care of our bodies and getting ready to go. I think we will be fine.”

The match was originally scheduled for Saturday but has been moved to Monday with sever weather coming to the area over the weekend. Good luck to the lady Tigers in bringing home a first place trophy this weekend from Jackson, MS.
