Basketball: MGCCC vs. Southwest

In the months of November and December, the Mississippi Gulf Coast basketball team combined for an overall record of 8-1. Once the calendar flipped over to January, the Bulldogs have had a lot less bark with a mark of just 2-4 entering tonight’s game versus Southwest.
Last January game for MGCCC, hosting the Bears in a pivotal MACJC south division matchup.
In the end, it’s Gulf Coast winning by the final score of 85-80. Huge divisional win for the Bulldogs to close out January.
On the women’s side, the Lady Bulldogs drop another one to the Lady Bears 62-53. They’re now 0-7 in MACJC south division play.
