Baseball: MGCCC vs. Southwest Mississippi

There are a lot of things in life that just go together, peanut butter and jelly, pencil and paper, king and queen, how about baseball and superstition.

After losing six home games in a row, Mississippi Gulf Coast made a little change and the result is now winning six home games in a row. Head Coach Rodney Batts moved the Bulldogs to the first base dugout from the third base dugout and they haven’t lost since.

All kinds of local guys doing work as the Bulldogs would go on to take game two by the final score of 9-4 following that 17-2 curb-stomping in game one. That’s six straight at home for Gulf Coast.
