Baseball fans get memorabilia signed by Hall of Famer Tom Glavine
Lines snaked out of the door for a chance to meet Hall of Fame Pitcher Tom Glavine in Biloxi.
Gulf Coast Cards and Sports Memorabilia hosted an autograph signing with former Atlanta Braves pitcher Tom Glavine.
Glavine is a ten-time All Star, two-time Cy Young Award winner, and was the catalyst behind the Braves 1995 World Series championship run, throwing eight straight shutout innings in game six on his way to the World Series MVP crown.
Glavine was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014. Glavine says meet and greets like these are a way to give back and continue to connect with fans. “For me to be able to come out and do these kinds of things and meet people and sign some stuff that they obviously value and take time to come out here to have me sign to add to their collections, that’s a big deal.”
Glavine is now an analyst for the Braves on Bally Sports Network and also celebrated his 57th birthday on Saturday.
