Barnes & Noble Announces Local Winner of Educator Appreciation Days

Barnes & Noble, Inc., the nation’s largest retail bookseller and the leading retailer of content, digital media and educational products, today announced that Bernadette Vitale from Ocean Springs Upper Elementary and Ocean Springs School District has been named the local winner of the Barnes & Noble Educator Appreciation Days Sweepstake. Vitale was chosen from thousands of entries at the Barnes & Noble stores in Region 5.

Vitale has been an educator for 17 years and credits her longevity with her love of working with students.

Vitale states that, “I am so excited, winning the 500 gift card and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook will make a huge impact for the students in my classroom.”

Vitale will be recognized at an celebration at the Gulfport Barnes & Noble where she will receive a $500 Barnes & Noble Gift Card and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK 7.0.
