Bark’n Good Time welcomes pets for a weekend of dog sports
Bark’n Good Time is back at the Harrison County Fair Grounds.
The event started today near the dog park with course ability tests trials and fast-cat trials.
Saturday and Sunday, you can join in on the fun at 8:30 a.m. Throughout the day, there will be more of the same, plus a conformation “B” match, canine good citizen, AKC trick dog, and fetch testing competitions.
and if you feel you and your pup aren’t ready to run with the big dogs, there will be plenty of fun runs during the day, making it the perfect opportunity to dip your toes into the world of dog sports.
“Everyone loves their dog, and wants to do something with their dog, but don’t know what they can do with their dog. So, this event shows people that there is more that you can do with your dog more than just walking down the street with them,” said Mississippi Gulf Coast Kennel Club president, Charles Steward. “Just come out, see what we’re about, bring your pet. It’s more instinct than anything.”
Day of entry costs $30 thirty dollars, and fun runs cost $6.
