Bacot McCarty Jolly Gala Reception took place at the Grand Magnolia Ballroom

It’s finally Jolly Time once again! After a year hiatus due to COVID, the Bacot McCarty Foundation’s fundraising event of the season is back.

This evening at the Grand Magnolia Ballroom in Pascagoula, community members gathered together for the Jolly Rancher Gala Reception ahead of tomorrow’s Jolly Golf Tournament.

The 2021 Jolly season marks the 17th year Bacot McCarty has held the golf outing to raise money and awareness for Coast nonprofit organizations.

Over the years, the foundation has given money to over 30 organizations all along the Coast. Jolly Chair Butch Oustalet said, “Most importantly the people of the Mississippi Gulf Coast are the most giving people in America, in my opinion. The Jolly McCarty Tournament generates $1.5 million every year. And most importantly it goes to good charities.”

The Jolly season wraps up tomorrow with the sold-out Jolly Golf Tournament at Shell Landing beginning at 8 a.m.
