Backpack Buddies receive grant from Sparklight

The Bridge Backpack Buddies has been awarded almost $3000 from Sparklight.

The Bridge Backpack Buddies will use the grant to provide food bags for weekends and school breaks for students experiencing food insecurity.

The program coordinator Caroline Hunh said the donation will ensure the success of the local chapter.

With the grant from Sparklight, Backpack Buddies are able to finish the 2023 – 2024 school year strong.
