Back to school shopping

With schools opening their doors in the next few days, stores like Educate and Celebrate are packed. They cater towards more than just traditional schools.
Bethany Salas packed her shopping cart with books for her daughter who will begin her second year of home schooling in just a few days. She told News 25 that home schooling her six-year-old daughter has helped them create a special bond together. “I know my daughter better now, watching her learn and learning how she learns than I ever thought I would know than if she had gone to public school. We are going to work on some writing, some stem cell activities that will do the physical life and our sciences because she loves science. We are going to do an about me journal this year. She is excited about that.”
Salas says that even though it is hard at times, she knows this is the right path for her daughter.
