Back to School dates

While Pass Christian students had a head start on the school year, it’s the final countdown for many other young people in South Mississippi with the school year just days away.

On Monday, Jackson County, Biloxi, and Long Beach schools will ring in the new year. Tuesday schools that will open include Harrison County, Ocean Springs, and Bay St. Louis-Waveland.

On Wednesday, Hancock County, Gulfport, and the Pascagoula-Gautier School Districts will usher in students for the first day of school.
