Back Bay Mission partners with Memorial Health for new collaborative initiative

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Back Bay Mission, in partnership with Memorial Health System, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony in Biloxi to announce a new collaborative initiative expanding access to healthcare for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Through this partnership, Memorial Health System’s graduate medical education program will place resident doctors and medical interns on Back Bay Mission’s campus to provide direct care to unsheltered guests.

The program brings essential medical services directly to those who face significant barriers to traditional healthcare access while also training future physicians in compassionate, community based-care.
