Back Bay Family Dentistry Offers Free Dental Care

Back Bay Family Dentistry hosted their annual Dentistry from the Heart event Friday. Residents came from as far away as Saucier for free cleanings, extractions, and fillings. The event was started in 2001 as a way for dentists to give back to the community and Dr. Jeremy Parker says the turnout speaks for itself.

Dr. Parker, D.M.D. of Back Bay Family Dentistry says, "The need is there. There are some people that are in a situation that may be out of their control that just need help, something to get them over the hump, and we wanted to be there to help."

Dr. Parker says some people were waiting in line for the free dental care as early as 2:30 a.m. Friday morning
