Autopsy report released in death of Olympian Tori Bowie

An autopsy report for the late Olympic Gold Medalist Tori Bowie has provided more insight into her death.

Bowie was found dead on May 2nd after a wellness check was performed on her. She is said to have died from complications of childbirth.

She was 32.

USA Today Sports obtained a copy of the autopsy, confirming Bowie was estimated to be eight-months pregnant.

The report also claims Bowie was undergoing labor at the time of her death. Respiratory distress and eclampsia were listed as possible complications.

Eclampsia is when a person develops seizures during pregnancy.
