Atlas Fights 26 at MGM Park October 24th
Next Saturday night, you can walk into MGM Park not to find batting cages, but fighting cages.
Atlas Fights 26 will be on October 24th and will feature four title mixed martial arts fights. While punches won’t be thrown for a few more days, we’re getting an inside look at some of the fighters. Some of them are from the Coast and they tell News 25 they’ve seen MMA grow immensely here and they are excited to be a part of such a big event. Robert Turnquest is fighting for the pro welterweight title and he said, “Excited to see how they set it up, excited to see what Glenn has put together for this. This is the first time doing it here, so I can’t wait to see what he’s done. When I first got here, I’m in the Navy and I just got stationed here about three and a half years ago. When I first got here, there were tons of amateur shows, only a couple professional shows. Now the professional shows are almost as many as the amateur shows but the quality has also gone up.”
