Asgard Motorcycle Club holds 38th annual Toy Run

Asgard Motorcycle Club held its 38th annual Toy Run for charity this weekend.

Riders were encouraged to donate one new toy, clothing, or pay $10 per motorcycle at Big Dawg’s Roadhouse in the Kiln.

Riders participate in this event the Sunday after Thanksgiving each year. Many cruised to different stops in South Mississippi, picking up more toys and more bikers before reaching their final destination in Biloxi.

The donated toys are dropped off at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Biloxi. The toys will soon be distributed to children in need on the Coast. President Asgard Kapp said, “Oh honestly, it feels good. Everyone is like the first one. It feels good giving to the needy kids. It feels great. It feels real good and especially when all the people that come to this thing and does the donation, we couldn’t do it without them.”

After the charity run, bikers were invited to an after-party at the Harley shop on Cedar Lake Road.
