Artists called to submit artwork for wild turkey stamp
Mississippi (WXXV)- The Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks announces the creation of a Mississippi wild turkey stamp.
That stamp is aimed at enhancing management, habitat and research for wild turkeys.
The stamp is set to launch for the 2026 Spring Turkey Season.
Mississippi-based artists are invited to submit artwork for the stamp as part of the kickoff campaign.
Submissions are required to show the Eastern Wild Turkey in a Mississippi setting. The winning design will receive a money prize and recognition across social media channels.
The winner will also be spotlighted in the Mississippi Outdoors magazine.
