Art in the Pass returns to the Coast

At Art in the Pass, visitors soaked up some local artistry.

With a silent auction, plenty of booths and Celebrate the Gulf happening a stone’s throw away, War Memorial Park had plenty to do over the weekend.

The festival ran from Saturday morning until Sunday afternoon, showcasing some of the best local talent.

Each artist donated one piece to the silent auction during the 24th annual art festival.

Art in the Pass took two years off because of COVID and now those local artists got their day in the sun. Art in the Pass Chair Betty Sparkman said, “Our goal is to enhance art in the community. We’re already a very art-oriented community, but this is our way of enhancing that and reminding people how important art is.”

Pass Christian Main Street hosted the event.
