Arrested for touching a child for lustful purposes

A Harrison County man is behind bars after he’s accused of child molestation.

Zachariah Walburn was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and is facing a felony charge of touching a child for lustful purposes.

A 13-year-old girl reported to a school counselor that Walburn had been molesting her since she was 6 years old. A warrant was issued for Walburn’s arrest and yesterday he turned himself in.

Walburn’s bond is set for $200,000.
