Arrested on aggravated domestic assault

On January 1 2024, Biloxi Police arrested 40-year-old Joshua Ivan Crawford of Biloxi on charges of aggravated domestic assault, being a convicted felon in possession of prohibited weapons, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
The arrest occurred after officers were dispatched to the area on 12/31/2023 for a report of a domestic related altercation in the 14000 block of Woodland Hills Drive.
When officers arrived on scene, Crawford barricaded himself in his residence, resulting in an approximate 5-hour standoff with law enforcement. Crawford eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without incident.
Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain was notified of the incident and set a NO BOND on the aggravated domestic assault charge due to Crawford being out on felony bond at the time of this incident.
Judge Fountain set bonds of $50,000.00 for possession of a deadly weapon by a convicted felon and $75,000.00 for two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Crawford was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and booked.
