Vancleave Man Arrested for Felony Eluding

Early this morning, one man led law enforcement across three counties on a high speed chase.
Henry Michael Griffith of Vancleave was arrested this morning on charges of felony eluding. Biloxi police were called to the area of a marina to investigate possible narcotic activity. Officers tried to stop Griffith for a traffic violation, but he took off.
The chase went through Ocean Springs, Gautier, north into Jackson County and finally ended in Lucedale where Griffith crashed into a house. No injuries were reported.
Griffith was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center where he’s being held on a $100,000 bond.
