Arrested on a felony charge of sexual battery

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office has arrested one man on a felony charge of sexual battery.

Sheriff Troy Peterson announced the arrest of 79-year-old Westley Andrew Gervais in Saucier.

According to the sheriff, deputies received information that Gervais engaged in sexual acts with a 15-year-old male. After their investigation, deputies issued a warrant and Gervais turned himself in.

He was booked at the Harrison County Jail and has a $100,000 bond.
