Arrested for cultivation of marijuana

Gulfport police arrested 23-year-old Austin Hester for one count of cultivation of marijuana.

Officials responded to a disturbance call on Marie Road. Officers observed seven marijuana plants growing in the backyard of the residence and located a room to grow the plants inside.

His bond is set at $15,000.
