Arrest made in school bus incident in Vancleave

An arrest has been made after an eight-year-old girl was hit by a car while waiting for the bus in Vancleave yesterday morning.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell says Jolie Bor of Vancleave has been charged with overtaking a school bus.

Bor was driving a Nissan Versa as a school bus was stopped with flashing lights in the eastbound lane of Jim Ramsey Road as the child was crossing the westbound lane get on the bus.

The child was taken to Ocean Springs Hospital where she was treated for a broken arm and a broken leg.
