Arrest made in Ocean Springs bank robbery

A woman is behind bars after robbing Wells Fargo in Ocean Springs around 11 a.m. this morning.
Dominique Spears of St. Martin took a Yellow Cab Taxi to Wells Fargo off of Highway 90. Once there, she approached the teller with a note indicating she had a weapon, but none was ever displayed. She then left in the same taxi, where it took her home.
The taxi was later pulled over near the Golden Nugget in Biloxi and the driver told police where he dropped Spears off. From there the police were able to use this information to locate Spears and arrest her. Captain William Jackson with Ocean Springs PD said, “One of the traffic officers that was doing traffic operations on Highway 90 was able to stop the Yellow Cab and obtained information from the driver that the individual that he had just dropped off at Wells Fargo and picked up, had dropped her off at the Reserve Apartments in St. Martin.”
Captain Jackson tells News 25 this is the second Ocean Springs bank robbery since last year.
