Arrest made in 2024 death investigation in Moss Point
MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)- Jackson County sheriff’s investigators have arrested a man in connection to the 2024 death of a Moss Point woman.
David Mitchell is charged with one count of tampering with physical evidence and one count of desecration of a human corpse in the death investigation of Cassie Dunn, a 41-year-old woman whose body was found near the HWY 63 bridge on April 1, 2024.
Mitchell is being held at the Jackson County Jail without bond, pending an initial court appearance.
Investigators say this is still an active investigation and more charges are to expected in this case.
