Arrest made in Gulfport shooting

A twenty-year-old man is behind bars, charged with aggravated assault.

Gulfport police arrested Dontedrique Magee following a shooting late Friday night. It happened in the 16,000 block of Crestview Drive.

When police arrived, they found a 16-year-old woman who had been shot in the head. Magee was taken to the Harrison County Jail and is being held on a $250,000 bond.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
