Arrest made after fight at Pearl River Central High basketball game

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A Picayune man was taken into custody on an assault charge stemming from an incident at a high school basketball game on January 9.

That’s according to our media partner, the Sun Herald.

Twenty-year-old Brady Robertson is the man facing assault changes. This past Monday, the Pearl River County School District posted a statement on Facebook about the fight, which happened at the Pearl River Central High school girls basketball game against Picayune.

The fight apparently resulted in injuries to another visiting fan.

The school district’s police department is spearheading this investigation with assistance from the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office.
