Armed Suspects Rob Gulfport Gas Station

The Gulfport Police Department is asking for help in bringing two suspects to justice after an armed robbery took place at a gas station yesterday evening.
At 7:36 p.m. last night, police responded to the scene of the robbery, the Chevron station on the corner of Railroad Street and Kelly Avenue.
News 25 has acquired surveillance footage from the incident which clearly shows two individuals enter the business with a weapon, demanding money.
Another employee says that the cashier who was present at the time of the holdup has left her job at the gas station.
Sergeant Joshua Bromen with Gulfport PD said, “Once units were on the scene they were able to determine that two, what appear to be males at this time, subjects entered the business wearing gloves and masks. One of the subjects appeared to have a firearm and after acquiring an undisclosed amount of currency they did flee the scene on foot.”
