Armed Robbery Escalates Into Shooting

One person is injured after an early morning shooting at an apartment complex in Pascagoula. Pascagoula police say the shooting happened at the Eastwood Townhomes at 3 a.m. on Sunday.
According to authorities, the shooting stemmed from a robbery, leaving one person injured. Sergeant Doug Adams says the shooter followed the victim home from a fast food stop and robbed the victim before shots were fired. Neighbors tell News 25 they are disturbed to learn the incident happen in their apartment complex.
The condition of the injured victim is unknown at this time. Pascagoula police have made no arrests yet and they are still investigating the incident.
