Armed Forces Retirement Home hiring for nursing positions

Due to the nationwide nursing shortage, Armed Forces Retirement Home hosted a nursing open house.

The retirement home is looking to fill many full time and intermittent positions, including licensed and practical nurses and registered nurses.

Those interested must have been a nurse for at least one year.

Applicants at the open house got to tour the property, meet residents and staff, and got more information about certain job openings. Director of Nursing Beatrice Overby said, “We take pride in the care that we provide to our residents. So, we are looking for nurses and nursing assistances who are very resident centered, who care about residents, who care about the care they provide, the quality of care they provide, and who are also dedicated.”

If you missed today’s open house, you can find an application at afrh.gov/jobs.
