Arkansas Golf and MACCC Conference give Honorary Scholarships to Hancock’s Rowdy Foster

It was a perfect day for being on the links as the Diamondhead Country Club and the PRCC Wildcats hosted day one of the Pearl River Invitational! The greens were filled with teams from the Mississippi Association of Community colleges Conference, including the recent national champions, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

WXXV talked to their head coach, Brad Thornton, who told us why this tournament is more than just about golf as many teams including Arkansas came together to give an honorary golf scholarship to Hancock’s Rowdy Foster. You can hear his interview in the video above!
