Arbor Day Tree Giveaway

Crowds gathered early this morning in Gulfport to pick up their free tree in honor of Arbor Day.

Southern Magnolia, Live Oak, and more were all passed out thanks to the Harrison County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Governor Phil Bryant named February 10th through the 17th Arbor Day plant a tree week encouraging community members to improve our environment with a simple action.
And you may not be a gardening expert but anyone can learn with a few easy tips!

This giveaway offered around ten different types of plants.
The truck was loaded with over 350 live oak trees.
