Arbor Day Tree Distribution at Lyman Community Center

The Harrison County Soil and Water Conservation District held its annual Arbor Day Tree Distribution.

Cars were lined up at the Lyman Community Center ready to take advantage of the event that started at 7 a.m. to pick up magnolias, camellia bushes, and blueberry bushes.

We spoke to the first person in line, Ann Yarbrough, to find out what brought her out before the sunrise. She said the promise of trees was what brought her out.
