Mississippi (WXXV)- Sunday marks 15 years since the Deepwater Horizon Disaster in the Gulf of Mexico – remaining the worst oil spill in U.S. history.
On April 20th, 11 people were tragically killed in the rig explosion that caused one of the most damaging environmental catastrophes.
Oil gushed from the seafloor for 87 days, ultimately spewing 134 million gallons into the Gulf of Mexico.
