App to report suspected human trafficking comes to Mississippi

Jackson, Miss. (WXXV)- Attorney General Lynn Fitch announces a human trafficking reporting app has made its way to the state.

The app is called “Simply Report”, allowing citizens to anonymously report suspected human trafficking in the state.

The app provides a tool for users to recognize and report indicators or trafficking directly to appropriate authorities.

The app is free and can be downloaded on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

AG Fitch saying in a statement that Mississippians can be heroes for a victim of trafficking.

She says she is excited to partner with Safe House Project to bring the app to the state.
