Annual Special Needs Thanksgiving Dinner
A number of people gathered this weekend for an afternoon of fun, food, and fellowship at the annual Special Needs Thanksgiving Dinner.
This yearly tradition gives members of the area’s special needs community a chance to get out and socialize. The event serves as a great reminder of why we should all be thankful to be a part of one big Mississippi Gulf Coast family.
Representatives from the City of Biloxi and members of Asgard Motorcycle Club were on hand to serve up some Thanksgiving dinner, adding to the experience for everyone who attended. Buff with the Asgard Motorcycle Club said, “They really love coming here. They come here once a year for this event. It’s nice over the years that we’ve been coming to see the same people, same adults, and same kids. It’s kind of nice to see them once a year. This is just our little part. We do this and other things. It’s giving back to the community that helps us do stuff for people on the Gulf Coast.”
The City of Biloxi and numerous organizations partner up to make this event happen at the Donal Snyder Community Center every year.
