Annual sidewalk sale in Ocean Springs

Clothing, artwork, food, good deals: you can find it all in downtown Ocean Springs this weekend.
Beginning today and into tomorrow, participating shops, restaurants, and galleries in downtown Ocean Springs will be showing off their summer specials outside under the Mississippi sun. This annual summer sidewalk sale is held each year in July. People can walk around and enjoy artist demonstrations and live music while shopping through deals up to 75 percent off on clothing, shoes, jewelry, and more.
Retailers say it’s a way for the community to come out and have fun while getting that added revenue into small businesses. Charisma Manager Ciera Rouse said, “I think it’s really exciting. It brings a lot of people to downtown Ocean Springs. It gives us an opportunity to show all of our merchandise and bring more people into our store. We have great sales going on. Everybody comes out, enjoys the live music. We have great weather today. It’s just a great opportunity.”
The sale is held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow.
