Annual Senior Thanksgiving Breakfast and Fellowship in Biloxi

This morning, seniors gathered at Donal Snyder Community Center as Biloxi Parks and Recreation Department threw their annual Seniors Thanksgiving Breakfast and Fellowship.

Anyone over the age of 50 was invited to enjoy a yummy breakfast and spend some quality time with friends.

Along with enjoying breakfast, seniors got to hear from city leaders including Mayor Gilich, Biloxi Police Chief John Miller, and Assistant Fire Chief Jason Davis.

Biloxi fire helped prepare the breakfast and Biloxi PD helped serve the meals. Biloxi Parks and Rec Senior Specialist Gwen Johnson said, “It gives them an opportunity to come out because, due to COVID, we haven’t been having an opportunity to do anything. So, they are excited about being out today and being able to fellowship with each other and seeing each other.”

Aetna was also set up and passing out information on health plans and also giving away pies and door prizes.
