Annual Easter Breakfast Popp’s Ferry Elementary

The Easter bunny hopped along to Popp’s Ferry Elementary this morning for the school’s annual easter breakfast.

An estimated crowd of over a thousand students and family members enjoyed colored grits, fruit, and Easter eggs.
The school also held multiple raffles for two bicycles, chocolate bunnies, and other small prizes.
The principal of the elementary school tells News 25 why this hour-long breakfast is important to the students and their family members.

“I just want to offer the opportunity for the parents to come and enjoy some time with their children, we live hectic lives, we’re always running here and there after school and this is just a great opportunity for them to enjoy some time.”
– Dr. Todd Boucher Principal, Popp’s Ferry Elementary School

This is the school’s fourth year holding the breakfast and officials say it keeps getting bigger every year.
