Annual Cemetery Tour

Coast legends will be rising from their graves this weekend in Biloxi.
The 10th annual Old Biloxi Cemetery Tour is back and the theme this year is “mayors.” Each stop in the Old Biloxi Cemetery will feature actors who will reenact moments of history from the lives of mayors who have passed away.
City officials tell News 25 that even though the tour takes place on Halloween, it’s not meant to be a spooky experience. It’s really about showcasing local history. Biloxi Downtown Services Coordinator Kay Miller said, “It’s very interesting and to hear the actors, they do such a great job telling all the stories of all the people we tell the stories of. We have a theme every year. It’s the mayors this year. So, 17 interesting stories about mayors and you may find out they’re not so different as the politic today.”
The cemetery tour is free. This year there will be two tours, one on Sunday at 2 p.m. and one on Tuesday night at 5 p.m.
