Amtrak Rolls into South Mississippi

Dozens gathered in Bay St. Louis to welcome the Amtrak train to the Magnolia State.
Excited residents showed up, lending their support for bringing the train back after its ten year hiatus from the Coast. Those who were there to welcome the train into Bay St. Louis tell News 25 the return of Amtrak to South Mississippi would not just be a convenience for residents but it could help us bring more business to the Coast.
“We think that Bay St. Louis has everything to offer anyone who is doing train travel and we would like to be able to travel by train ourselves,” said resident Ann Madden.
