Amnesty Day at Pascagoula Courthouse allows residents to resolve old cases

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- People with old fines or misdemeanor warrants in Pascagoula had a rare opportunity to clear their record without fear of being arrested today.

Amnesty Day at the Pascagoula Municipal Courthouse gave people a chance throughout the day to meet directly with a judge about their outstanding fines and cases.

Those who qualified were able to start payment plans after making an initial payment at the time of their appearance.
