American Red Cross asking for blood donations ahead of holiday season

The American Red Cross asking everyone who can to give the gift of blood.

Those with Type O blood and those giving platelets are encouraged to donate ahead of the holiday season.

Biloxi is hosting a few blood drives at Edgewater Mall starting on October 30th.

That drive running from 11 AM to 4 PM.

Then in November a blood drive happening on November 2nd and 4th.

November 2nd happening from 10 AM to 4 PM, the 4th’s blood drive happening from noon to 5 PM.

Two blood drives in Gulfport happening October 28th.

The first is at the Gulf Coast Event Center and then the second happening at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.

November 8th is also hosting two drives, the first at the Gulf Coast Event Center and then the second at EXIT Magnolia Coast Realty.

Elsewhere on the coast, Pascagoula is hosting a blood drive at their senior center.

That drive taking place October 29th and running from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

On Halloween, the Long Beach High School has a drive running from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Aarons Rents in Ocean Springs hosting a drive from 11 AM to 4 PM.
