American Legion in Bay Saint Louis to Hold Several Events Over Memorial Day Weekend

In Hancock County, several branches of the American Legion, with heavy involvement by Post 139, are joining forces for multiple observances and Memorial Day ceremonies.

On Saturday, May 25th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, members of the American Legion Auxiliary will distribute poppies for those who make donations for disabled and hospitalized veterans in front of Walmart.

And on Sunday, May 26th at 9:00 am, American Legion members invite those in the Bay Saint Louis and Waveland area to come out to a Memorial Day Observance, where Boy and Girl Scouts will place small flags on the graves of all veterans in Bay Saint Louis cemeteries.
