Amazing Women of South Mississippi: Spotlighting Dr. Eileen Whittemore & Robin Killeen

WXXV News 25 continues its new segment highlighting some phenomenal women in the area called ‘Amazing Women of South Mississippi.’

This week we are spotlighting Dr. Eileen Whittemore and Robin Killeen.

Both women partnered together to create W.O.W. – Women of Wisdom Inc., which is a non-profit that focuses on women’s empowerment.

Dr. Whittemore is the Chief Encouragement Officer and Killeen is the Founder/President of the organization.

Their mission is to build a space where love and connectivity can flourish. The organization’s core values are integrity, respect, teamwork, leadership, and community.

The group meets periodically for women empowerment luncheons with guest speakers.

Killeen said starting W.O.W. had been her dream since 1998 to encourage, equip, energize, and empower groups of women in the area.

The W.O.W. Care Closet is one initiative that Dr. Whittemore said works to provide clothing to women in need.
