Alleged Kidnapping Waveland

Waveland police say it is an unclear whether or not a child was abducted near the woods line of the Walmart parking lot off of Highway 90.
A witness told police they saw a man grab a female child who looked about seven years old by the hair and drag her into the woods.
The witness reported the incident around 7:30 last night.
Waveland police reviewed surveillance footage of the Walmart and noticed a man pulling on car door handles in the parking lot.
As authorities searched the area, a Waveland police officer saw a man he believed looked like the suspect, chased him into the woods and lost him but they did not see a child with him.
After searching the woods for several hours for that man and a child police suspended the search shortly after 10 pm
As of this morning still no children have been reported missing.
