Aldi hosting soft opening tomorrow in Ocean Springs
After a four year wait, the Aldi Grocery in Ocean Springs will finally open its doors for customers.
The store will host its soft opening tomorrow and make its grand opening on August 25th at 9 a.m. During the grand opening, the store will give out golden ticket gift cards worth up to $100 out to the first 100 guests.
The store will also give out free shopping tote bags until supplies run out.
Ocean Springs Mayor Kenny Holloway says he enjoys the positive community reaction to the opening and looks forward to seeing it flourish. “I didn’t know what an Aldi was when it first came to us. When I first heard of them developing it, but it’s almost like they got a cult following. People who love it, they really love it. They’re very excited about it happening in Ocean Springs.”
